Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy Polish 2013

"Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy allows you to get a gorgeous, iridescent effect inspired by outer space. The holographic glitter top coat is illuminated by the dark cream base coat, giving your nails a multi-dimensional look. The dual-ended package gives you everything you need to create a fun, cosmic look."  -Revlon.ca

This week while I was grocery shopping a nail polish caught my eye. It was the Nail Art Moon Candy polish by Revlon. The bottle is dual ended and beautifully amazing to look at. I love these polishes!!

I had to try them right away so I purchased a couple colors and tried them that night.

For my review & more pictures follow the link below...

Revlon recently lunched 10 shades of the dual 3-D space polish. Shades include...

*Meteor- Light Green /w Gold foil flakes
*Supernova- Light Pink /w Gold & Purple foil flakes
*Orbit- Dark Blue /w Light Blue foil flakes
*Galactic- Light Blue /w Teal & Green foil flakes
*Milky Way- Black /w Silver holographic foil flakes
*Satellite- Pink /w Purple & Gold foil flakes
*Universe- Black /w Gold & Green foil flakes
*Moon Dust- Grey /w Silver holographic foil flakes
*Eclipse- Pink /w White foil flakes
*Cosmic- Green /w Gold & White foil flakes

(All color descriptions are according to the website & my visual opinion.)

You apply the base color onto the nail first. Apply a second coat if need and let dry completely. Then apply your second holographic foil coat. You can choose weather or not to do 1 or 2 coats. It will all depend on how much glitter you want on your nail.

For longevity, and to keep your foil polished sealed in you`ll want to apply a top coat. With this type of polish you may even want to take the extra step and apply a second layer of clear top coat to make sure the foil is sealed in.

I bought Meteor & Galactic. Galactic is my favourite out of the two simple for the color. Product quality wise,  they are the exact same. The polish is like any other Revlon polish when it come to formula and texture. The dry time for both polishes is average. The glitter coat seems to dry a bit faster.

I only have two complaints about this polish. Like any other chunky glitter polish it is difficult to make sure that all the pieces stay down and flush to the nail. Again, clear coats with help with this. Lastly I believe the glitter end of the nail polish with run out a lot faster then the solid base coat side... sadly.
