Today's Look... Wonder Woman

Today's look is all about the red, blue, and yellow. Wonder Woman is the theme today. As everyone knows Mac launched there Wonder Woman line not too long ago. On Wednesday I FINALLY received my package in the mail. Ive been playing with it since.

The first look I created using some of my new colors had to, of course, be a Wonder Woman theme.

This is what I came up with...

There are more pictures and more info as to how to create this look below.

To create this bright primary color look I first started off with my base. You want a good base to help make sure you get vibrant color. Next I used Nyx's jumbo pencil in Milk under my brow, inner corner of my eye, as well as on my lower water line. I blended out my pencil under my brow and inner corner with my finger. All this will help brighten the eye and will help your white shadow stand out more.

I then began to add my color. I started off by applying Buttercupcake to my lid. I make sure not to go up into the crease. Next I applied the Marine Blue pigment, from the Wonder Woman collection, in the crease of my eye blending it into the yellow and out towards my brow. (Nothing too crazy though.) Don't worry if a faint line of green appears by mixing the blue and yellow. If it is blended nicely it will only add to the effect.

Next I pressed Tako right under my brow bone where the jumbo pencil is blended in. I made sure to blend the white into all the blue and any other colors it touch. This makes for a seamless finish.

I then moved onto my lower lash line where I lined it with a pink eyeliner and then applied Love+ on top. Basically lining my lower lash line in a glowing red. All the pressed powders I used was from my favorite company Sugar Pill.

Next I lined my upper lash line with a black pencil liner. I choose to use Themyscira, a blue mascara from the MAC Wonder Woman collection. (I LOVE this mascara, the Army of Amazons is so RAD too!)

On my face I used my regular base and foundation. I then used Mac's Cooling Powder and there Bite of a Apple on my cheeks.

On my lips I first used a base, then a beige lip liner to line and fill in my lips. I then topped it off with the yummy Emancipation Lipglass, also from the Wonder Woman collection.

Yay! Wonder Woman. Check it out! Im lovin it!

  3. Thank you! :D

I've heard people tell me both. Lighter looks better, darker looks better. So I flip-flop. lol. Ive been trying to buy lighter lip shades reccently, just because Im finding a lot of what I have is dark. I am liking the lighter shades thought.
