Today's Look... Saturday Night

Hope everyone is enjoyed their weekend. One of the looks I wore this past weekend, for me personally is pretty natural- minus my lips. I love a simple look like this because it is pretty easy to do and can be worn with a natural lip or something a little more bold, like a bright pink, or dark plum purple. It just depends what type of look your looking to pull off. 

This look is also very easy to transition from day to night. You can darken and create a smokier eye by adding a little bit of black liner to your lower lash line. Then add a little bit of black shadow or a shade of shadow darker then what was originally worn on the outer corners of your lid. Apply your darker shadow there, and blend. This should create a darker smokier eye. Also apply a bolder lipstick shade for that pop of colour. Perfect for that Friday night out after work, or those last minute plans on Saturday.

Today's Look... You're Eyes at Sunset

Today I am keeping true to my recent promise to start creating bright vibrant looks on myself again. Without meaning to I used colors that resemble shades seen in a tropical sunset.

I had so much fun creating this look that I included a quick step by step guide to show you how to recreate this fun but sexy tropical sunset eye.

Anna Sui- Lip Gloss C Review

Anna Sui make a variety a beautiful lip glosses, and when I say beautiful I truly do mean that in almost every way. Today Ill be reviewing Lip Gloss C shades 200 & 304.

Shade 200 is Magenta with Blue & Purple  shimmer.

Shade 304 is Coral with Pink & Gold shimmer.

 

The lip glosses applied very smooth & seemed to last a decent amount of time. They were not sticky or stringy and delivered a perfect shine. Sadly my photo's do not do this lip glosses any justice. They really are gorgeous once applied.

 

The packaging has that classic Anna Sui look. Sexy black bottles, decorated with gothic black roses.

Both glosses are impressive, but I would have to say gloss 200 is my favorite. Nothing beats the a Blue duo chrome sparkle on Pink glossy lips. 

These glosses sell for around $34 CA & can be found online or at Shoppers Drugmart. I would say these pretty little glosses are worth the money.

Anna Sui- #250 Lipstick Review

Recently I worked an event that was sponsored by some fantastic cosmetic company's that I had never gotten the chance to try out. I will have several reviews coming up of various Anna Sui & Stila products.

First up is Anna Sui's #250 lipstick.

This lippie is a shade of purple loaded with pink & purple glitter.

When applied I found it resemble more of a lip gloss. The purple base color of the lipstick really thins & fades out once applied. With that said the sparkles will remain. This is a very sparkly lip shade.

 

Packaging for this product is absolutely fantastic. So sexy & elegant. Topped with a black rose, these black lipstick tubes are detailed & unique. 

 

This lipstick goes for around $25 CA. You can find it at Shoppers Drugmart or online.
