Today's Look... Royal Lips

Today's look was inspired by wanting to do something different. It is rare that I wear lipstick out on a daily basis, let alone a dark, bold shade like blue, purple or black. I'm not saying that I won't or haven't worn those shades out. I just don't tend to on a regular basis, and because of that a lot of my blog looks don't always have bold lips. WELL... Not today. 

Today I decided to use MAC Cosmetics Matte Royal Blue, a dark deep shade of blue that will take any look to that next level. When I was done wearing my lipstick and removed it the lock I was wearing instantly toned down to create a whole new look. This is how simple it can be to differ or create a look for the day vs evening.

MAC Cinderella Collection Spring 2015

I have personally heard a mixed reviews of this collection so far. With that said there are definitely a few items I look forward to trying. I hope to be posting a review of this collection in the near future.

MAC Maleficent Collection Review

A little over a week ago I was happy to receive my Maleficent collection package from MAC. I was super excited about this particular collection so of course I ordered it the morning it launched online.

     

   

This collection was one of the many MAC collections that didn't sell out as a whole. A couple items did which are listed below. A lot of the items included were either already available in some form or variation and were very stylized to the particular look Angelina had worn through out the movie, making it a pretty simple (yet elegant) collection. It is still available online or in select stores.

Yes! Just a few days ago MAC released a teaser shot for Lorde's Summer 2014 collection.

(Maleficent played by ANGELINA JOLIE... just saying.)

Today's Look... Neon Rainbow

In celebration of Pride this past weekend I rocked neon rainbow eyes. I have done several variations of this look. This one being the most simple, and probably my favourite.

Today's Look.. Shimmering Green

This was a quick look I did on a recent day off. Wanted to see if I could get a slight smokey eye without all the effort of blending out dark green or black. Something quick and simple. 

I decided to apply Nyx Jumbo pencil in Slate all over my lid. I blended it out with my finger and then applied my Green Sleek Make Up shades on top. 

This gave me the slightly smokey effect I was looking for and saved time. Plus it helped make my shadow stick and last. (I still applied my Urban Decay Primer Potion first anyway. Always do.)
