Fantasy Makers 2011 Halloween Nail Color

Fantasy Makers nail polish was created by the makers of Wet'n Wild. They released there new Halloween polish colors about a month ago. (Sometime in September.)

These polishes have to be some of the cutest I have every seen for Halloween. Every bottle has the R.I.P Grave Stone as the lid, perfect for the occasion.

I managed to some of Fantasy Makers nail polish at my local Shoppers Drugmart, however I'm sure you can find them at any drug or beauty supply store. They go for anywhere between $3-$5.

The Fantasy Makers not only focuses on nail polish but also Halloween makeup including cream colors, glitter eyeliners, false eyelashes, glitter spray, and lipstick.

As most have already been talking about, and in well anticipation of China Glaze is releasing a 2011 Halloween Collection called Haunting.

I, personally am very excited to get my hands on these polishes. They look like a lot of fun, and seem to create awesome color combos. These polishes look pretty fly.

Included in the Halloween Haunting Collection are as follows...

Haunting: Black with Silver glitter
Crimson: Deep Purple with a hint of Blood Red
Near Dark: Rich mossy Green
It’s Alive: Bright Green glitter
Ghoulish Glow: Glow-in-the-Dark

Once I manage to actually try out all of these colors I will post a review. Halloween is my favorite time of the year. Glow in the dark nail polish just screams its arrived!!

Cindy Sherman for MAC Fall 2011

M•A•C is forever asking “Why not?” when it comes to the miracles of makeup – our medium for transformation – always exploring new ideas about the many ways we long to look and feel different for a day, a night, a lifetime. With the help of props, makeup, prosthetics, wigs and sets, artist Cindy Sherman embodies this Power of Transformation – from off-kilter Hitchcock heroine to fresh corpse, Caravaggio Portrait to Park Avenue Plastic Surgery Maven – all elaborate exercises in trying on different personas.

In the campaign we’ve longed forever to conceive, Cindy Sherman for M•A•C created three characters using three different colour stories. We’re living in a time when people of all persuasions have become bolder than ever about the ways they choose to express themselves: with a colourful palette of possibilities, You are the Artist, You are your own Subject, and no matter how fearfully you begin, you become fearless in the process. We can’t wait to see what you (and the genius that is Cindy Sherman) do next!

This collection was something I feel like I haven't found in MAC in a while. I was finally excited about a new collection that was coming out this season. I had found MAC was having a tendency to disappoint this past season. I now feel that they are back in game! (lol)

I'm a little off the band wagon at the moment. I really haven't looked into the new MAC collections coming out this season yet, and really got around to it today. I'm late, but not too late. Cindy Sherman for MAC is the only collection I found that truly leap off the page at me. I'm super excited about the bright colors they are using, and really love the message behind the whole collection. The wonderful transformation, using what we love... Makeup! :)

O.C.C Pretty Boy Collection (Fall 2011)

Who says makeup is only for girls? From David Bowie, Duran Duran and Boy George to Adam Lambert, Jared Leto and today’s crop of glam rockers, the impact men have made on the art of makeup is one that still resonates through the present day and boys keep swinging!

Pretty Boy, OCC’s new Fall/Winter 2011 Colour Collection, takes its inspiration from these artists and performers to present a palette created to empower all genders to express themselves with colour.

The creative process began backstage at the Fall/Winter 2011 Collections where the runways were littered with brightly coloured makeup including intense neons and saturated pastels, not typical of what to expect from makeup trends meant for the later months of the year. At BESS NY, under the direction of Makeup Artist Vincent Oquendo, male and female models alike took to the runway in bold neon lips, multi-colored eyes and with some literally covered head-to-toe in glitter. At Eva Minge, Makeup Artist Kristi Matamoros created a look that showcased almost-neon red lips, and at Logan Neitzel, Makeup Artist Victor Henao’s look featured a graphic green/black eye makeup look that made models of both sexes look equally mysterious and androgynous.

OCC’s take on the trend features 6 new intense shades of Lip Tar, alongside new Nail Lacquers, Loose Colours, Pure Pigment powders and Glitter to finish off the look with a bold and dramatic flourish.
