Nails... How To: Water Marbling

Water Marbling nails is a fun and easy way to create colourful and detailed designs. You can use any colors to create multiple designs.

These designs are always created randomly however colors can be layered in different ways to create a different look.

For a list of items you will need to create this design, as well instructions on how to create it follow the link below...

Nails... Purple Water Marbling

I recently got my nails done, which of course means a polish change. I decided to go with a light lilac purple from OPI called Do You Lilac It? (Unfortunately I do not have a picture of nails before the marbling design.)

After rocking Lilac nails for a couple days I wanted to jazz them up by adding a design. I choose to do a water marbling effect simply because it is easy & effective. I also wanted to create different layers of color, which can be done using this effect.

I hope to have a 'how-to water marble nails' blog posted soon.

To create this design I used the following polishes...
-Do You Lilac It? by OPI
-Berry Smooth by Avon
-Violet by Joe Fresh
-Beauty Secrets Clear Hardener Top Coat

Today's Look... Pink Lemonade

Today's look really wasn't inspired from anything specific. I haven't used any pink shades or many yellows on my eyes recently, and I think they are a great color combo that should be experimented with more often. I would say I was inspired by other peoples creative looks. I love the bright colors & creative designs I have seen recently.

Today's Look... 'Wearable' Daytime Look

Today's look is a much more 'wearable' then looks I usually do. Today I wanted my makeup to obviously look good, & make me feel good, but something that took little effort and was easy.

This is also a great look for travelling, simply because every color, expect the blue under my eyes are all included in one palette, Urban Decay's awesome Naked 2.

Today's Look... Rainbow Brite

Last weekend Toronto had their annual Pride Parade supporting the rights of people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual, & transgender. It is a weekend of celebrating everyone's individuality. In the spirit of showing pride & support I decided to go all out with a rainbow eye look.

Today's Looks... Heart Breaker

Today's look was inspired by Sugar Pill's new Heart Breaker palette. The widely popularized palette has four beautiful shades that are all equally fun to experiment with. You're probably going to see these shades featured in my looks quiet often for the next little while. ;)

Here is today's look...

Today's Look...Gimmie Shelter

Today's look was inspired by Gimmie Shelter by The Rolling Stones. (<3) I wanted to create a really bold, and bright eye, but also include that sexy smokey darkness towards the end.  I love using pruples for smokey eyes. I like to switch it up from the same old black. Dark purples pair beautifully with bright greens. They pair so well together I decided I would use to duo on my eyes to give myself a look that would pop.

Today's Look...Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone!

I hope everyone had a awesome Halloween this year, with tons of candy!

I was sadly disappointed when I found a lack of people and effort put into Halloween. I think it's crazy sad that a yearly tradition is being ruined because of many different reasons, some of which I really prefer not to dive into. It's just disappointing having only a handful of kids come to your door, when you remember going out and people would run out of candy before the night was through. Line ups at doors!! (lol)

Regardless of what everyone else did, I dressed up. Which included my makeup, of course. This year I dressed up as a zombie or dead girl? Bridesmaid? :/

This year I decided to go with a pre-planed look. Not that I don't plan my Halloween look out every year, but this year I had gone with something someone else created. (I tweaked my version for what I was looking for.) It was a face map from MAC that Jangsara had re-created and posted on her blog. (Thank you!) I loved it so much, and Jangsara did such a amazing job at showing how it was created that I had to try it.

Here is a link to her blog to check out her (much better) amazing version... here.

Todays Look... Dirtyy Blue

I am in mad love with this look. (Ha, props to me!) I just really love this shade of blue. I knew I wanted to use this color for sure, and maintained the crisp-ness with white on the lid.

This look is hella easy to create, however is propably not for everyone. It is very bright and bold. However you can always switch colors in and out of a look, and control how dramatic or bold you would like it to be.

Avon Quads: Golden Splendor & Fresh Cut Greens Review & Looks

Last week I got my second Zpalette in the mail and basically wanted to get rid of all the odds and ends when it came to eyeshadows. Like most people I would rather them all be in one palette, then fifteen different containers. Point being I stumbled across two Avon Eyeshadow Quads. I noticed they had numbered the eyeshadows and had a diagram on the back of where to place the color. I thought it would be fun to try it out and write a blog about it.

So here they are; 24k Golden Splendor & Fresh Cut Greens...

Todays Look... Grapes

This has to be one of my go-to looks, if that makes any sense. Whenever I want something quick and easy, something that is going to last all day, but still be bright and colorful I always turn to my greens. I do this because I have a great lime green hydro-cream eyeshadow that works as a long lasting base. The product is super versatile and one of my faves. Also if you flick thought my blog, you can see all the different greens used, and how often I use them.

I named this look Grapes because some are green and some are purple. Keeping with the basic theme. (Lol)

Either way, today was one of those run to what I know days. I had to pick up and go this morning but didn't want to look like a complete bum. This is what I managed to come up with...

Todays Look... Chillin Blue

Hey guys, sorry there has been such a long hiatus. Work, as well as the past few days have been really busy, but here I am back and ready to post what I have been working on. :)

Here is today's look. It was really under no inspiration. I just wanted to do a lighter lid, with a darker color in the crease. This is what I managed to come up with...

Soda Pop Series: Coca-Cola

Day #4: Coca-Cola
Coca-Cola was another look I just HAD to do. Why? Anyone who knows me personally knows if there is one thing I am addicted to it would Coca-cola. I drink a lot of pop, which truth be told isn't the greatest thing in the world to be doing. I don't recommend it, especially if you want nice skin.

I really wasn't too crazy excited about this look when I planned it out, but when I actually did it today, I was surprised and really happy with the way it turned out. It might actually be my favorite look of this series.

Soda Pop Series: Grape Crush

Day #2: Grape Crush
Grape Crush is the darkest look of the week. I knew it would be considering it consists of mostly purple and some dark green. When I chose to do the Pop Series I knew Grape Crush would have to be included being a signature and unforgettable color in the pop world.

Todays Look... Orange Crush

If you follow me on twitter, earlier today I had said that today is my Dare to Bare day. My one day of the week I go with no makeup. However I found out a couple hours later I was to go out for dinner with my boyfriend and his family. I quickly ran to the washroom and quickly threw this together.

I ended up really liking the look so I decided last minute to take a couple pictures and make it today's look.

This is what I came up with...

Today's Look... Spring Fling!

Although it has been quite rainy and grey recently (at least where I am) I wanted to do something that was a little lighter, and felt and little more like a sunny spring! I also wanted to finally use the Modern Basic Beauty 5 Shade Pink Palette I got from the hair show.

It's a pretty simple look. Took very little time. Here's what I came up with...

Today's Look.. Leafy Green

Today I did another look using more bright green colors. I have noticed recently I have been doing a lot of green looks. I'm gonna have to start switching it up soon. For now, this is one from my green collection (lol) Leafy Green. It's suppose to be a good mix between bright, and smokey green, with a touch of gold sparkle.

Once I was almost done this look, I noticed that really, this is a mix of two look Ive already done. It reminds me of Green Machine & Green Eyes. Either way, this is what I came up with.

Today's Look... Brown Eyed Girl

Today's look is called Brown Eyed Girl. I went with something that was a little more natural. I used to say as a rule of thumb, NO brown. Brown is boring. Well, I would like to retract my pervious statement and say if used properly and for the right look, it can look awesome. Same goes with hair. If you get a beautiful brown color, on the right person, it can look bang on!

Today’s look features a lot of browns and more natural tones. The pictures unfortunately as some do, didn’t turn out to be the greatest. I must say it did look a lot better in real life, but we shall work with what we have.

This is what it looks like…
