Cindy Sherman for MAC Fall 2011

M•A•C is forever asking “Why not?” when it comes to the miracles of makeup – our medium for transformation – always exploring new ideas about the many ways we long to look and feel different for a day, a night, a lifetime. With the help of props, makeup, prosthetics, wigs and sets, artist Cindy Sherman embodies this Power of Transformation – from off-kilter Hitchcock heroine to fresh corpse, Caravaggio Portrait to Park Avenue Plastic Surgery Maven – all elaborate exercises in trying on different personas.


In the campaign we’ve longed forever to conceive, Cindy Sherman for M•A•C created three characters using three different colour stories. We’re living in a time when people of all persuasions have become bolder than ever about the ways they choose to express themselves: with a colourful palette of possibilities, You are the Artist, You are your own Subject, and no matter how fearfully you begin, you become fearless in the process. We can’t wait to see what you (and the genius that is Cindy Sherman) do next!

This collection was something I feel like I haven't found in MAC in a while. I was finally excited about a new collection that was coming out this season. I had found MAC was having a tendency to disappoint this past season. I now feel that they are back in game! (lol)

I'm a little off the band wagon at the moment. I really haven't looked into the new MAC collections coming out this season yet, and really got around to it today. I'm late, but not too late. Cindy Sherman for MAC is the only collection I found that truly leap off the page at me. I'm super excited about the bright colors they are using, and really love the message behind the whole collection. The wonderful transformation, using what we love... Makeup! :)

MAC Fall 2011 Turquatic Collection

Modern girls (and boys) who’ve become addicted to Turquatic, MAC’s sensual sea-spray of a fragrance, bracing with anemone, lotus, orris, and a curious waft of Corsican cedrat from the shore, will love its new, fresh evocative packaging sure to satisfy that legion of mesmerizing mermaids who want more. Just look! A sleek new rollerball option, as well as the debut of our larger 50ml size.

MAC is coming out with a small fragrance collection for this fall.
It will be launching August 11/11 (US/CAN) September 2011 (International)

The Turquatic Fragrance... Crisp and energizing! A splash of clear, sparkling mineral water brought chilled through an infusion of fresh lotus leaves and Corsican cedrat, finished with a warm blend of anemone, orris and blue cedar. All permanent.

This scent will come in three different sized bottles, in different designs.

MAC Fall 2011 Collection... Colourizations

Couples can be seemingly mismatched…but when it works, it’s wonderful! These Duos for Eyes are doubly dramatic, with two shades combined in sophisticatedly unexpected ways…so much so that we call them M·A·C DOUBLE FEATURES. In eight daring pairings, they’re being introduced just as Summer fades away, COLOURIZATIONS Double Feature Shadow Compacts are the quickest, most convenient way to incite the imagination. Technakohl Liner gets the Best Friend role, emphasizing the chemistry between these eight interesting new dualities. Plus, two set ready Brushes.

Coming up later this month we will be seeing MAC's latest collection, Colourizations hitting counters all across the country. The collection is dedicated to the odd couple, the random mix and match colors that don't always seem like they are going to work out, but some how magically do.
